To choose between recipe and me was difficult.. lolz i mean the topics .. :p so here i go with both.. :d
Its a mixture of both topics... recipes and 10 things about me ... ( or my recipe :p )
1) I'm quite a multitasker.. i can do 3-4 things at the same time... (eg:as in work / blog /chat/ make presentations.. *Grins*)
2) I love cooking and experimenting.. it does turn out well :) ( mala has tasted it and she is alive too :D hehehe)
3) I'm a clean freak . I don't like things when they are messy .. I can't stand dirt in my office or home.. my house keeping guys in office get fired by me :p and my maid at home ( Is it a syndrome?? )
4) I am quite an approachable person and friendly.. I listen to people's grievances with all ears open.. I listen more and talk less then :d at times I can be a punching bag for people..
5) I can cover my emotions .. one will find it really difficult to make out if was ever sad...:D ( except for 2-3 jokers i mean my friends whatever i do they can just make it out :p ) am a mystery, basically an open book with closed chapters :)
Now comes the Recipe for u guys :) ( i mean food now :p )
Mala requested me to put up this ( this is for u sweety )
Aloo ki Sabzi
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cooking Time : 15-20 minutes
Serves / Makes : 4
Boiled potatoes, diced and braised with a few whole spices and onions make a quick and easy side dish or even main course.
Boil the potatoes in their jackets and allow to cool thoroughly. (Boiled potatoes can be left for a day or two in the refrigerator.) Peel and dice them evenly. Heat the oil over medium heat in a wide shallow pan and season with mustard seeds. When they splutter, add the red chillies and fenugreek seeds, immediately follow with the onions and green chillies. Fry the onions for about 10 minutes or until they are golden brown. Add the turmeric powder, potatoes and salt. Stir-fry gently until the potatoes are heated through or for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and sprinkle the coriander leaves over.
Serve with puris or loochis to make a substantial snack or as a side dish with rice, etc..
