Go ahead.. Sue me. I dare you!! (Mr J)

Hmmm.. spending a day with someone from BUF. Firstly I have to admit that when this topic was in the poll counter, I was crazily voting for it. Since the poll counter had a 24 hour block from an IP after voting, I would vote twice a day. From my home IP and Office IP.

I actually wanted to skip this topic but at times, or should I say most of the times, I end up doing what I don't want to. :@

So anyways enough of BS, here goes. 8-)

It was quite a tough choice to choose the person and it took me a while to carefully scrutinize my 'victim after a few tests of elimination the Oscar goes to....... Neha C.

For starters, she's studying to be a lawyer. Something that I totally admire cos some of my friends at one point suggested that I have the right stuff to become one. So anyways since i'm not into this field, I guess the closest I can get to is to spend a day with Ms. Lawyer herself. :D

So what would we do.. umm, considering that she claims to be impatient and gets bugged easily, perhaps we would start with a full course golf (my golf card is due next week) during which I will have loads of questions on the Indian judicial system, the various fields in law and other such 'intellectual' stuff.

As quoted by her- Not an easy person to noe.. u got to keep asking me stuff if u wanna noe anything about me... I like a certain element of mystery in people and perhaps this is just a reason I need to start talking and talking and talking. Well she asked for it :P but don't fret, i'll ensure to make my conversations as entertaining as possible. ;)

After all the whole point of meeting her is to ensure that I know someone who can watch my back in case I get into trouble, not to forget the sue-ing spree I could go on to settle some scores. And yes I have used smileys in this post. :D :D :D

The Chef is here. (Mr. J)

1. Take a damn onion. A nice fat round juicy onion. Peel off it's covering. Take a sharp knife and start cutting it. Your tears start flowing, chop them with a vengeance until you have no more tears left.

2. Take one medium sized tomato. If you have a roomie, call them to the kitchen. Throw the tomato at them. If it doesn't give in, then it's just right. Now cut it.

3. You need one vessel that is shallow. Put it on the stove and throw in some oil.

4. Add the chopped onions and stir occasionally. When you get tired and before the onions get burnt, add a teaspoon of ginger & garlic paste or chopped. Stir for some more time.

5. Add the tomatoes and keep stirring, while your mind goes to the pizza hot line which delivers to you in under 30 minutes and you ask yourself what the hell are you doing.

6. Take the chicken piece that you have skinned before. If you haven't, then you're in deep shit. Turn off the stove and start skinning. Once ready, dump it in the cooking pot. Curse yourself for not ordering the pizza.

7. Add 2-3 cups of water. A pinch of salt, red chili powder and set to low flame.

8. Pick up a can of beer or whiskey, go watch TV or do something.

9. When your done with the first round of drinks, head back to the kitchen. If you are not feeling a bit woozy repeat step 8 again. When you are just perfect, add a pinch of salt, some more red chili powder. Look around, see what else you can find. Dump them all in. Curry powder, garam masala, cilantro, pepper.

10. Turn the stove to high flame. Grab another beer or whiskey and go watch TV. When you are done, the meal is ready.

Honestly at that point, you seriously wouldn't be able to tell the difference. You are drunk and you are hungry.

Guten Appetite!!

That is assuming rice or something else is already prepared to go along with the curry. If not, it's time you ordered that pizza.

Care for some Mozart's Balls? (Mr. J)

I just realized while writing this out that if I put aside my twice a year visit home, then it's been quite a long time since I took a vacation. But on the other hand, the places i've lived at and been to pretty much makes up for it even though it was just plain business all the time.

Salzburg beautiful salzburg.

Living here for a year I must say that i've fallen in love with the city, country and the culture. Having been to a couple of places around Europe, I think i'm justified to say that Austria is perhaps one of the most cleanest countries in Europe.

Salzburg, situated on the border of Austria & Germany, is more famous for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the lesser known Josef Mohr and Franz Gruber who penned the 'Silent Night' song, and not to forget- The Sound of Music.

It is indeed a sleepy city with an easy going, laid back attitude. Locals say that this is one of the reasons why Mozart later moved to Vienna. You cannot miss the huge, always snow capped Alps and the beautiful Salzach river that runs through the city. Surrounded by three mountains from the Alps- Untersberg, Monchsberg and Kapuzinerberg.

A 30 min. train ride and you are in Munich where the world famous Oktoberfest is held every year.

The scars of WW2 still remain and can be seen in the well maintained bunkers, the occasional discovery of an unexploded bomb and so on. Infact every Saturday at 12 noon, the bomb sirens and the bunkers are tested, just in case.

Apart from the usual, Salzy is also quite famous for Swarovski and RedBull. If anyone does happen to visit Salzburg or for that matter Austria, you cannot miss the Almdudler (for non alcoholics), Austrian Wiener Schnitzel and Stiegl beer.

In case you are still wondering about the title of this post, believe me- Mozart's Balls are really tasty.

Also known as Mozartkugel, this chocolate got the dubious distinction of being called Mozart's balls since A) it's named after Mozart and B) they are all round.

And no, I didn't come up with this term. Honest!!

And lastly, The Salzach river. The place on the other side of the river is Germany.

Headbangers Ball (Mr. J)

This music is my time
To relax and rewind
I'll be brutal with truth
And i'll be honest with my soul
Be the pile of trash
A bum picks through to get a bite to eat
I'm filthy
I'm horny
I'm dirty, nasty, dirty

Make way for Mr. J (John!)

Taaaaaaaadddddaaaaaaaaaa!! Finally.

I go by the nick of Mr. J a.k.a Sillygoof or you could just call me John, which is my first name by the way.

I've been blogging since June 05' but found it boring & deleted all my posts...until I moved to Austria and blogging became second nature to me.

I'm from Hyderabad and presently in a tiny island called Malta in Southern Europe, working in the new media a.k.a the Internet industry, heading the sales & marketing department while I fail to understand how my four years of education in computers helps me in my job.

You wouldn't be mistaken to call me a nerd even now, cos every now and then I venture into those password protected HR files and any issues with this website, give me a shout.

Apart from music & a bit of reading (which I do only when i'm flying), I love collecting flags and currencies of the places i've been to, appreciate fine arts (but hate the fact that they are so damn expensive), have a keen interest in technology (which will always be my first love) and go ga-ga over my Jack Daniels or Chivas on the rocks...and recently discovered that Heineken isn't bad either. But as I always say, enjoy the drink and not the other way around.

I can be friendly but it takes me a while to get comfy with people in general and i'm quite picky, but once the ice is broken with the right company, i'm pretty much easy going.

I've been living out of my two suitcases for the last two years and close to 6 years in total, away from home and love every moment of the experiences that have and will come by- the highs and lows of everyday life, which my blog aptly captures and I firmly believe in three things: A) God B) Live and let live C) Failure is when you give up instead of trying your best (sadly not many people agree to this).

Two things that make me mad outright is A) Being taken for granted (which is not what you think it is) B) When someone messes with my drink. (It's Whiskey on the rocks with 4 cubes.) Simple, yet hard to follow.. Sigh!!

There are quite a few people in here whom I haven't come across but thanks to IshiAmma, have heard a lot about some of you and it's quite nice to meet on a common platform like this, rest assured i'll pop by your place soon.

In conclusion.... that's all there is, to this humble and modest soul. Catch you guys in the next post.
